Simplee Kiddy Meals: Salmon Millet Cake

Salmon Millet Cake

If you have young kids at home, probably you want to cook something that can catch their appetite. I have tried this recipe myself and my daughter loves it, even myself just fall in love with this Millet Cake. Millet is nutrition and I start feeding this to both my baby and toddler. I added millet into their daily dietary such as rice and porridge.

It could be a perfect snack for kids and dinner for us. I made the smaller bite size for kids and a bigger for us to be served at dinner.

  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Potato
  • 2 Cups  Chicken Stock

Methods
  • Heat the saucepan, add in some cooking oil/olive oil and brown some minced garlic, add in the millet and stir fried for 5 minutes when you smell the nice aroma of the garlic and millet, add in Chicken Stock.
  • Bring Millet and Chicken Stock to boil, keep stirring.
  • Add in potato and cook for another 15 minutes, keep stirring.
  • Add in cheese, stir till the cheese melted.
  • Stir in Salmon Fillet that has been cut into small cubes, do not over cook the Salmon if not it will be dry and flaky. maximum of 2 mins.
